The 1956 Kropp-Crickmer House in the Memorial Bend subdivision. Was being sold as a teardown when the Hornings purchased the property in 2006. The house, now a designated City of Houston Landmark, was originally designed by David W. Crockett, great-great-grandson of Davy Crockett.
