Friends of the Texas Room produced the television documentary In Search of Houston's History to increase public awareness of the historical resources of the Houston Public Library's Houston Metropolitan Research Center (the library's Julia Ideson Building, home of the HMRC, is pictured above). The one-hour program aired on KUHT Channel 8.
