Houston Mod is being recognized for its outstanding exhibit and catalog documenting the residential architecture of Hugo V. Neuhaus. The exhibit, held last year at Architecture Center Houston, examined Neuhaus’ work and his influence on post-World War II design. In addition to historic photographs, the exhibit included original floor plans and renderings that aren’t usually available for display. Many of those drawings were reproduced in the high-quality 95-page catalog published with the exhibit. Houston Mod’s Neuhaus project is the third exhibit and catalog to be produced by the all-volunteer organization, and this is the second Good Brick Award that Houston Mod has received for its educational programs.
